Wiingy/ I want to apologize to my tutor who provided a free trial, should I?

I just had my free demo with Wiingy.

Background info: wanted a tutor for a hobby, found Wiingy, it gave me a rate/ hour for teacher A, booked in a free demo thinking if things go well I can continue to book it lesson by lesson. Received so many notifications re lesson coming up, was a bit weirded out by it but still attended the demo. Lady starting the session notified me the teacher I booked is not well matched with me, so would recommend another teacher, didnt think too much so said yes.

Lesson went well, but then was told that I need to pay as a package or subscription, at a much higher rate than what I first looked at. Lady was being very pushy, I asked to have some time to think about it as it was way out of my expected budget. She wasn't happy but so was my experience with their service.

Now I just feel really bad for the demo tutor? I did not choose this teacher yet he gave me his time and knowledge, it would not be hard for me to reach out to him via other platforms to ask for lessons directly without Wiingy in the way, but I am also worried about the rate he is going to ask for, and other bits and bobs about practicality. I just feel bad and want to at least apologize for using his time not knowing about the payment plans Wiingy pushed on me.

Should I do this? As a tutor how would you feel if this happened to you?

Thank you for your time folks.
