Im thinking of sabotaging my best friend's job interview.

For context, my best friend (23M) is moving in with my fiancée (24M) and I (24M). He lives in a tourist town for rich people, but the place sucks if you're in your 20s, so he's moving back to the college town that we graduated from. Our friend group was trying to convince him to move back, but things just weren't lining up right for him at the time. A month later, my fiancée and I were going to be moving into a 2 bed apartment, but had no plans for the second room, so we talked it over and offered it to my friend. I'm pumped that he's gonna be living with us, but he needs a job, so he scheduled an interview for a position at my workplace. That's where the issue comes in, because I offered to put in a good word for him before we decided he was moving in with us.

I work at a decent furniture company as the head warehouse and delivery guy. I make a minimum of 700 a week, usually more because of delivery bonuses. I've also had a lot of experience before this job as a delivery truck driver and a warehouse inventory manager. Its a small crew of 6 people in the whole store (Manager, Assist. Manager, Salesman, 2 warehouse/delivery, 1 floater). A floating position opened up a few months ago, and no one has been able to fill it yet, we just haven't found the right person. My buddy does need a job, and would have a great shot with a good recommendation from me, but I really don't want to work with him if I'm already going to be living with him. I don't wanna see him 24/7, I only offered the position to him when we were trying to get him to move back here, I need breaks from people. Hell, I need alone time from my own fiancée! And I really won't want to have to deal with my friend if he fucks something up at work so bad we lose a bonus.

That's where the sabotage comes in. Since he has no managerial experience nor experience driving a truck, if I don't give him a recommendation, he probably won't get the job. Ive offered him other jobs that pay well, i have conncections at a moving company i used to work for and another at a loading dock we frequent, but he decided on my company. It feels shitty to do this. He's excited to work here because it's a decent amount of money for guys our age and in degrees with bad job markets (His is in Anthropology and mine in Sociology) but again, I only offered it to him when I thought I wouldn't constantly be seeing him at home. I feel like a total shithead for offering the job months ago and now trying to go behind his back for the sake of protecting our friendship, but that's when it was completely different living situation. I feel like sabotage by omission is my only option. What should I do?
