Conan Without Borders v. Conan O’Brien Must Go - Does a laugh track change the watching experience?

CWB uses live audio from an audience viewing (laugh track) and COMG does not. I don’t need anyone telling me when to laugh, so it was a complete surprise when I preferred the laugh track.
