Alternative ending to Season 8 that would've made the show's continuation way more interesting:

Debra survives with a minor injury, but Hannah ends up getting killed. Dexter leaves Harrison with Deb and sails into the hurricane. Deb and Quinn raise Harrison.

So much dramatic potential was destroyed by killing Deb, and it still bothers me.
