A few weeks ago, we released our take on the Companion Cube skin for the Steam Machine. The reaction has been absolutely incredible and we've received a ton of feedback from our audience, especially on r/steammachine.

First, we want to say ***thank you*** for all the feedback! We have carefully read and considered every thought and concern, and our #1 goal is to bring the best possible product to the fans.

That being said, we heard many of the same requests. The main one wishing that we had chosen a lighter, more accurate shade of pink. The another coming notably from users in hotter climates saying they had issues fitting their Steam Machine inside our case (likely due to thermal expansion).

We are here to say that we heard all of you, and we are excited to [announce our V2](https://www.propsmenu.com/products/portal-2-steam-machine-case?theme=portal), designed to address all of your concerns! Our intent wasn't to make this an AMA, but we invite everyone to ask away with any questions.

So once again, ***thank you*** to everyone who shared their thoughts, both positive and negative! As a small fan-run shop in Atlanta, it brings us so much joy to see people enjoying products that we personally designed and assembled, and we can't wait to hear how the new version performs!
