My Ex-Wife Sucks

So my 18 year old daughter makes it thru high school. Is granted the ability to attend Illinois schools at a greatly reduced rate. Back in January I requested to fill out all of the financial aid documents etc. I was told I wasn’t needed and both my Daughter and Ex shut me out.

My daughter stated in March that she was accepted to an out of state school. Nothing since then.

On Friday last week my daughter calls for the first time in almost a year and says I need money for school. I tell her let’s setup a meeting with your mom and we can figure things out.

I send her an email: how much do you need, have you registered, housing, spending money, books etc. She emails back saying she needs 13,000 a semester plus incidentals.

I reach out to the ex and ask her how with less than 10 days to the start of school didn’t this get addressed. She stated that she had put our daughter in charge of college and that she had only found out today about the problem. She’s destroying our daughter’s opportunity to leave the house is my best guess. She refuses to engage, share any info and my daughter doesn’t talk to me. Ugghhh.
