Why isn’t the 70s/80s childhood really idealised anymore?

Decades

I mean, just wondering, since during the era of 2000s that was early web 2.0, particularly 2006-2009 (I know, it’s a random range, but it is just the birth year interval me and someone close, not getting into details were born), the 70s/80s childhood was the one currently idealised, I mean those two decades were effectively “paired” together in this context and I’ve found out these information from early youtube compilations posted then, what has been left from hi5 and a couple of forums/blogs that are quite hard to find now, but still reachable to an extent.Anyway, but I’m asking why didn’t the 70s/80 childhood remain the “gold standard” and it got pushed forward, including “pairs” throughout decades, like from “70s/80s childhood (+ the early 90s)” we went to “80s/90s childhood (+ the early 2000s)” (in the 2010s, I suppose) and from “80s/90s childhood” we went to “90s/2000s childhood (+ the early 2010s)”, what’s the reason it got pushed forward/it gets pushed forward?
