[Question] New watch advice please

Discussion

Hey everyone.

It's my birthday coming up and I'd like a new watch. I used to wear watches but got a Google watch which I decided just isn't for me. I haven't had a new analogue watch in a while.

I'd like to know what I need to look for if I want a non-ticking watch?

I'd also like to know any particular brands or models that don't tick?

I understand Skagen are fairly well known for their silent mechanism and I must admit I like the simplicity of them. I did see a nice Timex quartz e line but I read Timex are pretty loud.

Let me know your thoughts, and thanks I'm advance.

Sincerely, A Novice.
