Summaries

Does anyone else get annoyed if a Fic doesn't spell a characters name correctly?

I know that the differences from audiobooks, language, or maybe even lack of subtitles/reading about the characters (if a show/movie) can cause people to interpret the spelling differently. But whenever I find a fic that has a name misspelled for seemingly no reason other than they just don't know the correct way, it immediately turns me off the fic. I don't even know why. Like, I can deal with different name reveals (HP Harry to [insert the hundreds of variations here] for example) just fine. I can't, however, deal with it just randomly being spelt different. I onow it's such a small thing, but for some reason I just can't get past it.

And sometimes I even come across names missing letters or being misspelled in the very summary!

Sorry for the rant, just needed to say this. I can overlook SO MUCH in fanfiction because I love getting to read the stories, but this is just one of my biggest pet peeves, I guess.
