(Possibly dumb) question about interaction between Deterministic Chaos and Actium War Rig

I am aware that vexadecimal/the weakening effect is bugged on the gun, and that there are better machine guns to use, but I love this gun, and want to use it in a support/half decent damage kind of way, kind of like Divinity.

My question is, I’m aware the weakening shot only occurs every 32 shots rather than 16, so without the war rig you’d only get 1 weakening shot before reload, but with war rig, I’d get a weakening shot every 32 shots until I out-shoot the reloading effect of the war rig, correct?
