What is the secret to making a good iced chai tea at home?

hey everyone!

die hard chai tea enthusiast here. also someone who is balling on a budget, so i need to stop spending $7 on one every day.

what is the trick to making it at delicious at home? if I made tea bags and chill those, it tastes so watered down. using the tazo concentrate isn’t very tasty. I love a spicy potent chai.

im thinking i need to start steeping loose leaf or something along those lines, i just don’t know where to start with buying a mix or how to start.
