I'm u/TotalHelpful7512, a founding moderator of r/doon_gamers.

This sub exists for one simple reason: there are a lot of gamers in Dehradun and

across Uttarakhand, and almost none of us know each other. You've queued into

ranked at 2am with random strangers from Delhi while someone three blocks away

was doing the exact same thing.

Let's fix that.

r/doon_gamers is for anyone in Uttarakhand who plays games. PC, PlayStation,

Xbox, Switch, mobile, handheld, emulator, the dusty PS2 in your cousin's room:

all of it counts here. Dehradun is home base but Mussoorie, Rishikesh, Haridwar,

Roorkee, Haldwani, Rudrapur, Kashipur, Nainital, Kotdwar and everywhere in between

are just as welcome.

⚙️ Two things to do right now

Set your user flair. Click the flair option on the sidebar (or the ⋯ menu on

mobile) and set it to something like `PC · Dehradun · Valorant` or

`Mobile · Haldwani · BGMI`. Takes ten seconds and makes every thread here

instantly more useful.

Read the rules. Short version: keep it local, don't gatekeep platforms,

LFG goes in the weekly thread, no cheats/account sellers, be a decent human.
