Official discord moderation shooting the messenger?

There seems to be a large scale wave of trolls joining the VS official discord, and moderators seem to be banning people caught up in arguments with them. I got a 180 day ban for saying it's a bad thing to brag how someone could be run over with a car and the person bragging not be affected.
