Exhaust + recommended part changes CB125R
Ok so title is self explanatory - I’ve been riding around for a while now, looking to change out some parts and improve general comfort for myself as I’m quite tall on a 125 and I will be holding onto it for atleast 1-2 years.
I get the stigma between exhausts and 125’s I get that MOST people remove the baffle etc but after 4 months I genuinely don’t like the way OEM sounds. There’s nothing wrong with it, just I did a few maintenance bits a couple times now and ran the engine and I really don’t like the way it sounds, I get it’s a 125 and won’t be impressive but it sounds like someone is slapping the palm of their hand onto a class bottle over and over again rlly fast (if you can imagine that)
I wanted to ask about exhausts…. I get I will get a lot of hate for this on a 125 most likely but I want to elaborate how it’s for myself and not street cred or to turn heads (I hate attention), I wanted to ask if anyone also has a CB125R and if there are any recommendations for nice sounding exhausts that aren’t obnoxious or sound like a drawn out wet fart. I’ve been looking into the (baffled) mivv mk 3 or scorpion red evo, both sound okey to me in person and on videos, not great ofc since it’s a 125 but I have just thought since I’ll have it for so long I may aswell do something id be happy with and either sell the part with the bike or put the OEM back on when the time comes and keep the exhaust mod as a wall decoration for the time and memories spent on this 125 since it’s rlly grown on me now.
I can’t elaborate how much this is a personal thing - it’s just for myself and my ear candy even if it may seem like an excuse, I don’t rev and do stupid stuff while riding anyways it’s just to please my inner child. Hate if you’d like but I was hoping to hear some okey recommendations.
