100+ interviews and my brain STILL short-circuits on "tell me about yourself" ๐Ÿ’€

Ok genuinely need to know what's wrong with me at this point lol. 100+ interviews done. i prep SO much beforehand practicing out loud, the whole thing and then the second they hit me with "so, tell me about yourself" my brain just... leaves the chat. completely blank.

my voice literally speeds up on its own, i start talking so fast it's giving anxious auctioneer energy like i can HEAR myself rushing but i can't stop it in the moment. everything's so smooth when i'm prepping alone but the second it's a real live interviewer, it's just chaos.

the most annoying part is i KNOW my actual content is good, my skills are legit, my experience is relevant. but the delivery is so shaky that they're probably sitting there like "does this guy even believe in himself" and it's not even a one time thing, it's literally every single interview, same exact pattern.

anyone else deal with this?? how do y'all actually calm the nervous fast talking down, specifically for that opening question. i've already grinded on the content part, now i need to fix whatever this delivery thing is, it's costing me offers fr
