[KCD1] PS5 (launch edition) crashing constantly

Started playing KCD1 as it's available on PS+ extra and loving it, but I can't play for more than an hour or 2 (sometimes less even) before it shuts down my ps5. I'll then have to plug out my ps5 and let it cool down before it can turn back on again. Im seeing other people talk about crashes with this game but idk are they saying their ps5 literally overheats and shuts down, or does the game just crash..

Anyway just want to see if anyone has any recommendations as to what I should do. I have no problem bringing the console somewhere to get it fixed, just conscious that the repair guy will obviously be more than happy to "fix" it but in reality it might just be that KCD1 does this and my ps5 isn't the issue.

Worth noting that I've tried both ps5 and ps4 versions and have the same issue.

Any help with this would be much appreciated cus I think this game rocks harder than Avril Lavigne and I really want to blast through it and then onto KCD2 🕺🏻
