Ventricular Tachycardia At 17
When I was wearing a three day holter for an unrelated reason that turned out to be nothing, they randomly found a short period (around 20 consecutive beats) of ventricular tachycardia. Obviously this is not what they were thinking of finding and was a weird unrelated find. Luckily got to meet with an amazing cardiologist who is sending me for a stress test and paediatric echo. How common is this? Has anyone dealt with similar? I do have heart issues in the family (uncle and grandpa) so curious how much genetics cause this compared to a benign cause. I know i can’t get true answers until more tests are run but struggling to find information about others so young and similar to me.
