Should an Orthodox Christian work at Starbucks
Okay so I recently got offered a job at Starbucks. I absolutely love being a barista as I work at a different coffee shop, but I need to get paid more with more recent bills/responsibilities as a teen, and Starbucks pays significantly more than my current one. However, I would consider myself to be devout in my faith, and I would never diminish that. I am supposed to start at the end of the month and I’ve been very anxious about the new team I will be surrounded by and the beliefs that the corporation heavily promotes, that very obviously go against what we believe. I also understand that I cannot shield myself from the secular world, and it will always be in the midst of us regardless, to which I combat with prayer and attending almost every church service.
I know talking to my Priest is better than asking reddit users, but I am new to the church and would rather not bother him tbh
As a Christian, What would you do?
