My dog is an 8-year-old spayed mixed-breed female, approximately 15.5 kg. She has a large lump on her belly/body wall that may need surgical removal. The vets took three-view chest X-rays to check whether a possible cancer has spread to her lungs, because that would affect whether surgery is worthwhile. Three vets have reviewed the images but could not reach a conclusion, so they are being sent to a veterinary radiologist. I understand nobody can diagnose her from a Reddit post, and I will still wait for the specialist’s report, but I would appreciate any informed observations. The lump has not yet been definitively diagnosed as benign or malignant.I’ll attach all three original X-ray views. Thank you for any guidance on what questions I should ask the radiologist and surgeon. As English is not my native language this post has been co-written by a clanker.
