Does SNW have too many cover-ups?
Like don't get me wrong, I understand life is complicated and morally gray, that sometimes the good guys have to do underlying things and a cover-up is truly the best option. But I feel like Strange New Worlds has hit this button too many times, and it starts to give off the impression that Star Trek no longer values institutional transparency as much as they ought to. Like, it almost feels like the crew of SNW are living in a thoroughly post-truth universe, and though I find that sadly realistic, I'd like to think the future Federation has moved past the need for having that much post-truth because people feel like they'll ordinarily get a fair hearing barring exceptional or strange circumstances. What are your thoughts?
