Got a B in AS further maths, should I still bother with doing engineering at Oxford??

Or could I try and get my teacher to predict me an A in FM? I'm taking the a level but I don't know if Oxford will accept a B in As? Or do they look at predictions of the A level itself?? I have parents who will send me back to america and it's really worrying me.
