3 Distinctions

What I have found so upsetting today is that I got 5 in english (both of them) and 5 in maths. I applied for liverpool as my firm and got 3 Distinctions and a B in my EPQ, that’s over 150 UCAS points alone. I applied for liverpool knowing that the entry requirements for my course where DDD, I have met those but they still rejected me because I didn’t get a 6 in maths.

I just can’t understand how a 1 grade different in maths would affect me so much, plus the fact they are still in clearing and haven’t filled all the spots on the course.
