Y'all remember Project Hero? Y'know, the one that took the entire fanbase by storm in 2019? The one that released it's final demo from 2021 earlier this year? It ain't dead, but alive and well in the hands of others.

Hero did cancel the project a while ago, only announcing it a little before releasing the final build. While it is unfortunate that it was cancelled, the 2 demos we got were really cool.

Between the showcase and the release of the 2021 build, many were upset that the modern style was switched out for a more classic/ova style. While it's okay to think that, you should refrain from harassing someone because their taking *their* project in a direction you don't like.

Modern or not, the project was cancelled, thought to never see the light of day again. That was until a few days ago. Thanks to the efforts of Stelmo98, a Sonictuber and P-06 speedrunner, and Beatz, a well know Sonic modder (mostly Beatz, Stelmo's words not mine), they were able to decompile the 2019 demo and do the one thing we all wished we could with the incredible movement, add stages.

As of now, there are 5 known stages, and 4 unknown ones. The stages we know will be there on release include:

* Windmill Isle Act 1 from Sonic Unleashed
* Emerald Coast from Sonic Adventure
* Sigil Archipelago an original stage by Beatz for P-06
* Metal Harbour from Sonic Adventure 2
* Kingdom Valley from Sonic 06

There are 4 more stages confirmed to be in the game, but we don't know what they are.

As for features added to this version of the 2019 Project Hero build, the video showcases

* Slightly altered moves
* Shadow being playable
* New objects
* Lightspeed attack for Sonic

For closing notes, just watch the video man. The main reason I'm making this post is to spread awareness about this project. I know there are many people like me who saw Beatz port Windmill Isle into the 2019 build and were FEINING to get their hands on it. I'm not part of the project in anyway but I wanna highlight the dedication and hard work put into this. I already mentioned Beatz and Stelmo98, but I also want to highlight ChaosX, yeah the P-06 guy, he helped out too. Please go to YouTube and show some love to the video. The build shown will be released on the 15th of this month, so this Saturday. The download link will be shared there, so you'll want to save it for later.

Thank you Stelmo98, Beatz, ChaosX, and most importantly, Hero.
