Why so mean?

I noticed that in a lot of of these conversations people are just being mean just to be mean, half the time they don’t even make it about the WNBA or the Valkyries themselves it’s all about personal feelings.
I came to this Reddit to enjoy other fans talk about the Valkyries and all I see is tax based on someone’s opinion. And then people down vote to essentially mob bully.
But then the mods wanna claim that this is a friendly zone lol calm down on the bullying and then maybe the mods wouldn’t have to
