[PS1] Disc drive getting no power.

Got this PS1 model 5000 and I attempted to do the PSNee mod on it, did the soldering and everything then it was stuck on the boot screen. Upon further inspection, I saw that when I press the lid switch, the laser doesn't even move. Tested the same laser on a different PS1 and it was working.

Looking for any answers!
