Is the episode "Why is Everybody Singing?" (S17 | E22) worth skipping?

I read the synopsis when I checked it on CBC Gem to see what was in store for the next episode. I really dislike musicals. Aside from that, the writing is pretty crummy in Season 17, so I'm already pretty unimpressed overall as I near the end of it.

Can I just go ahead and skip it? Or will I be missing out on an integral episode that's canonically important?
