Fan Wars and Problematic Idols

I wanted to say this for so long and now I think I have words to say it without sounding off. Every single human in the entertainment industry have problems that nobody would like to support.

What makes everything absolutely worse is discussing who had more reaction to something they did wrong. Comparing how bad what they have done is or how much backlash they got is not an okay topic to compare.

Every single problematic action works together to normalise problems. If you are going to take away the important part of speaking why what they do is wrong and start speaking of who deserve what amount of backlash and start defending your faves for getting a worse backlash, you are ruining the whole conversation.

Just go ahead and support the mistake and leave the conversation, at least that way the main problem won't be shadowed by the need to compare who got it worse.

I am begging you, if you all have the time to disect and compare and contrast problematic things people do, you definitely have time to do something actually meaningful.

Which is to stand against the bad, no matter who that is. That simple. Thank you.
