Day Bars/Brunch spots near the beach?

Getting up to Ft. Lauderdale Friday morning, was going to check out the beach in the morning around 9-10am then walk over to a few bars and see what’s going on. Any good day bar suggestions or areas in Fort Lauderdale anyone would suggest? Thanks in advance!
