what’s the process for joint uoft michener programs if you decide not to attend?

Hey guys! I don’t think that I’ll be able to attend this Fall but I’ve already paid my seat deposit. I think that I’m registered on mymichner but acorn says invited still. I haven’t deferred my fees or paid tuition yet though.

Does anyone know what I’m supposed to do? Do I need to formally withdraw or can I just decline my acceptance on OUAC?

Additionally, are there any implications of doing so - will this show up on my transcript and impact me negatively?

I’m sure other students have done this if they got off waitlists for different institutions etc. I just don’t know how it works or if I’ll be impacted negatively for doing so.
