How to continue my silversmithing journey?

Hi! I hope this is the right place to post, but I took a 5 month metalworking class earlier this year and really loved it! I really enjoyed making rings and pendants, but in the class we only ever bezel set cabochons, and when making rings we would just solder the bezel right on top of the ring.

I want to learn how to set more stones! I’m wondering what you would recommend I try to learn next? Im very interested in learning how to set stones in line with the ring instead of just on top, but i’m not sure what the best progression would be? any advice would be appreciated, thank you!
