Long post-op binder with compression on chest and no compression around belly?

Advice Wanted

Just had my consultation, and I’ve been told my surgeon does not provide post operative binders (they do sell them but they aren’t covered by insurance so he said I’m good to get my own if I want).

I’ve heard lots of bad things about the post op binder experience and I want to plan ahead so my healing is as smooth as possible. My surgeon keeps people in the binder for 3 months, which is quite long, so I think it’s definitely important to invest in the most tolerable one possible.

I see a lot of surgical binders are a half tank style. I’m a bigger person so I find that that style of binder (for pre-op at least) tends to roll up on me a lot, and I know that will drive me insane. I also see that there exist full length ones with compression all the way down the stomach. I’m thinking those might be uncomfortable too due to bloating.

Do there exist full-tank post op binders with chest compression but no stomach compression?
