Moon and me
Per your request. For some context, I am an older gay man and wealthy. And I am into men in their 20s. I’m not lonely. I am particularly attractive to handsome creative types and when I see one that is working, particularly hard to make something of himself I reach out. I truly want to see if I can help them fulfill their career goals Full disclosure. It’s not all altruistic.
Over the last two years I have subscribed to and reached out to over 150 creators. Only 2 have gone from the parasocial to a real friendship/mentorship. Oddly they have bachelors degrees. (One mathematics and one in cyber security. Meaning of meant them in person multiple types and we talk quite regularly using normal channels. And I don’t buy anything from them. I I do offer financial support, but it’s in the form of paying for education, food, etc. Every dollar I give them I know exactly where it goes.
I talked to him in the first time about six months ago via his Telegram chat. He is the first 18 year-old and the first one not OF. Usually has stay away from them, but was clear he had talent and was working hard. I know you have to spend some money to get their attention so I bought some things from him. And frankly, the beginning, we had some nice conversations. I even saw some of the advice I gave him show up in his TikTok’s.
This is the point where I say I’m not buying anything from you anymore but if you need financial help, we can talk via Snap and I’ll see what I can do. I got him on once. This is normally where I would stop and just move on because it was clear he was not interested.
But oddly, he kept talking to me on his site. I wasn’t spending any money besides the $50 so why not.
This is when I started to do research to see what other experiences people had and found your site
I have no idea why you keep talking to me. Maybe I’m a back up plan. But lately he’s been more distant and I do believe that he’s starting to use a service on his website. So I told him I don’t have time for this if he wants a real relationship he has my number if not, have a good life.
Similar to other experiences here there were a lot of contradictions. Some things he does are incredibly smart. Then at the same time I had to tell him what a psychological trigger is. He did not know that term. He seems to be horrible at geography. I’m not a doctor so I’m not going to diagnose him, but it’s clear that he focuses his on what he’s good at and ignores the rest. He is also chasing dopamine like crazy.
I don’t know if he’s gay bi or straight. I’m not sure he does. I think at this point he’d be willing to try anything for the thrill. I think he’s fiercely independent and only does what he wants to do.
I also think he intentionally got rid of Wade and was masterful at it. Or more likely has someone behind him that is being ruthless and only focusing on growing his audience. You just need to look at the latest TikTok‘s. Those are high-quality productions. The car wash scene reminded me of Zoolander and the gas station scene.
He did tell me before he went to LA that he was working on a new project so I’m guessing he somehow negotiated a better deal. He’s smart enough to know he’s the best product they have at this time. And he’s using it to his advantage.
He is still a fascinating story and I’m intellectually curious to see what happens over the next few years.
But I’ll spend my time and energy on people who are reciprocating their time and energy on me. He did keep me on the hook much longer than most.
My advice to those who are in a parasocial relationship. If you’re an older guy looking for a younger companion, there are plenty out there who want an older man in their life. They’re as good looking if not even better than Braydin. And they will make you a lot happier and be happy to be around you. It just takes some effort to find them.
