Looking for people to join my writing discord server!

I'm a long-time lurker on Reddit but still don't really know how it works, so sorry if this post lands in the wrong place, etc.

So, after literally years of telling myself to put myself out there, I'm finally looking for some writer friends! Currently I write as a hobby, and I'm in the middle of a writing slump, so I thought what better way to procrastinate than making a writing server? I'm looking to form a small community of writers from all across the world, with a focus more on friendship and conversation about the everyday struggles of writing.

Personally, I want to pick up the challenge of writing a dark romance story (never written one before), and I'd like to have some friends to talk with about it and to hold me accountable, and vice versa. I'm 24, and my server is intended for those 18 and older, simply because I'd prefer to talk with adults and avoid any sticky situations.

I'm not sure how to go about inviting people in. If you're interested, I guess you can DM me here, and I'll send invite links and we can go from there? I just made the server yesterday, so you can expect a few changes to be made, but I can guarantee at least one active writer on there (me, haha). You can also DM me on Discord: @avearazia. All you need is to be over 18 and to be a nice person! Hopefully this interests some people because goodness knows I need to groan about the struggles of writing with someone.
