Who here was discarded while the relationship was still great?

My relationship was super short but an intense 3 months. I felt like she and I were completely aligned if that makes sense like fully understood each other. 10/10 chemistry, interests, values, humor, the frequency of our convos. The ending was so abrupt and shocking like the flip of a light switch, I went from being excited and falling in love with a person who vanished into thin air. It happened just before a special date we had planned the next night.

I’m 37 and lead a social life where I’ve connected with many ppl. Never experienced anything like this in my life. I haven’t been hung up on someone since I was like 19 or 20. It’s been 2 months of radio silence.

I ask this question bc there are a ton of posts that are heartbreaking but I don’t relate to. The relationship didn’t last long enough to go thru the challenges.

I’ve never felt anger toward her at all, it’s just sad, and I have empathy for her too. Nothing hurtful was said from either side. She was panicking and I was confused.

Anyone else have this experience? Would be interested to hear the take of an FA on this too. What is this experience like for you?
