Jack Kerouac is the direct definition of religious homophobia
today I have finished The Subterraneans by Jack Kerouac. Then I realized there were some offensive and direct comments on "queer" representations. So I have researched a little and realized he is the direct definition. He was friends with openly gay figures like William S. Burroughs. he had bisexual experiences, but he was strictly homophobic thx to his religious dogmas. So, when this happens, you tend to avoid the works of the author or just separate the art and artist
