TikTok frappes: A short rant
I know I'm screaming into the ether on this one, but for the customers: TikTok recipes are very rarely actual menu items. In fact, most of them tell you how to order it from the barista or in the app. If you come to the box and order the Spiderman frappe, some of us may have made it before, but since it's not a menu item, we're probably going to ask you to explain. We had a customer get their flabbers gasted that we did not have Spidey on the menu and needed her to tell us the recipe. Depending on the TikTok, it might vary - I've seen some with white mocha, some without, some with extra blue powder, some with whip up the side, etc.
Also, TikTok recipes aren't always going to taste good - they're usually meant to look cool. This isn't time for a tasting flight of the menu. Two of the three we made for that customer came back in because "we don't like it, can we get something else?"
I'm really trying hard not to be this guy from the Simpsons, I swear.
