Is applying to 5 schools enough?

Hello,

I’m an Illinois resident and have applied to SIU, UIC, Marquette, lecom, and creighton (still need to do supplemental for creighton). I applied to these schools early August. I feel like my stats are pretty good but I’m scared I might be too confident. Should I apply to more schools? My stats:

500 aa, 510 TS, 470 PAT

3.6 gpa, 3.7 sgpa (strong uptrend)

3 pretty good professor LORs since i worked for them as an assistant. And pretty decent dentist LOR.

500 hrs Alzheimer’s research (Did $1200 grant project and will co author publication coming soon)

Member of a couple bs clubs and leadership role working as learning assistant on campus.

170 shadowing hours (general dentist); 150 volunteer hrs at my church
