Hey guys,

I need a second opinion on my current grow. My plant has been drooping and clawing pretty heavily for a couple of days now, and I’m holding off on flipping to 12/12 until she fully recovers.

**Setup Details:**

**Strain:** Super Boof from Royal Queen Seeds

**Medium / Pot:** Soil in a 15L fabric pot (top-dressed with a layer of clay pebbles)

**Tent / Space:** 70x70 cm (\~2.3x2.3 ft) with a SCROG net managing \~40+ shoots

**Light:** 300W LED, currently dimmed to 40% (\~120W) at 35–40 cm distance to minimize transpiration stress during recovery

 **Environment:** 28°C / 69% RH (VPD \~1.09 kPa.

**What happened:**

1. A few days ago, I noticed light tip burn and brown spots on some middle leaves (suspected salt buildup / pH lockout due to watering with insufficient runoff previously).

2. On Sunday, I thoroughly flushed the pot with pH-adjusted plain water (no bio additives, achieved \~10–20% runoff) to clear out excess salts.

3. The soil has been slowly drying out since (moisture meter shows 3–4/10 in most lower areas, though one spot is still around 7/10).

4. I also did some LST and tucked shoots under the SCROG net to manage the density.

**The issue:**

As seen in the photos, the leaves are still heavily clawing and drooping.

Is this a classic case of **overwatering / root oxygen deprivation** taking a few days to resolve after a heavy flush?

Could it be a mix of **LST stress + root recovery**?
Should I just stay patient and let the medium dry out further before making any moves (including flipping to 12/12)?

Would really appreciate any insights or similar experiences! Thanks in advance.

Need advice: Leaves drooping / clawing after flushing. Overwatering, light stress, or lingering root shock?
