Gen 1 Raptor Suspension Configuration
Hi everyone, new here and have a 2013 Raptor with 120k miles on it. Love this thing but it is much due for a suspension refresh. Hoping for some advice on perch settings with this setup.
I'm currently rebuilding the OEM Gen 1 Fox Shocks and installing Geiser springs. That's about it for the front right now, did the rest of the front suspension about a year ago.
In the rear, I recently bought the Deaver +3 SD leaf springs. They're sitting in my garage until the other parts needed for this job arrive. I picked up the SDHQ bump stop plates (which are what's holding the install up since they won't ship til next month) and the Camburg stock length shackles, which also haven't shipped yet since they'll ship with the bump stop pads.
Here in Texas I drive a fair amount of gravel roads, trails, etc. No rock climbing or jumping. I also use this as an actual truck for a side business, but usually the bed has less than 250lbs in it. So how it rides on the road is obviously important to me too.
I'm wondering if anyone else has a similar set up and how they like it, and if shocks on mid perch with the Geisers level or give slight rake with the Deaver +3 in the back. I like a near-level/ slight nose down look and want to avoid squat at all costs. Or am I better off setting to bottom perch and losing the near level look?
Thanks in advance!
