Why is ch5 the only chapter without serious consequences (battle-wise)?

SpoilerDiscussion Question

First, let's establish some things. Up until this point, all the chapters, 1 to 4, have had any kind of serious consequence depending on what you do inside battles.

* Ch. 1:

-If you manage to end battles non-violently (with some exceptions), all the enemies, lead by Lancer, with dethrone Chaos King. After that, you can talk to everyone one last time before sealing the fountain.

If not, you'll get the regular sequence, where Ralsei pacifies the king instead and no one assists you.

*** The most minor case, as all enemies will forgive you regardless of what you do once you enter Castle Town on Ch. 2.***

* Ch. 2:

-If you manage to debilitate Berdly's plug completely on Queen's battle, he'll manage to break free without issues.

If you, however, end up defeating Berdly violently on his battles or defeating Queen through violence (the only exception being her battery shield), Berdly will try to break free, roasting his arm on the process. Something permanent, as it persists even on ch5.

-By doing shenanigans in battle with Noelle, entering Weird Route.

* Ch. 3:

-If you recruit Pippins and Shadowguys without losing recruits, Tenna will be alive on ch4, as they will help Susie find him.

If not, no one will assist Susie, and he'll be damaged beyond repair. This marks the first serious consequence of not recruiting everyone or losing recruits, as prior to this chapter, it only affected Castle Town's activities.

* Ch. 4:

-If you don't lose recruits, Jackenstein will be alive and will appear on ch5, as the recruits will form a tower, lifting Kris and co. towards the final area of the chapter.

If you do, however, Jackenstein will fall to his death, and he will be damaged beyond repair.

*** Titan Spawns track the way you defeat them on the POWER menu. This doesn't have any effect as of now. ***

On Ch. 5, though, there isn't any equivalent. Aside from the battles which already restrict any kind of violence, there won't be any major effects if you use violence inside battle:

Attacking the flowers most of the time is useless, as they will apply the wise techniques of spamming max cure. Only Seth and Aqua will react on some way, in both cases ending the fight before you deplete their HP.

The last attack you inflict on Flowery's battle (which uses Kris' in-battle attack reticle) has a different outcome if you miss, which is losing (story-wise, you don't actually lose the battle). Aside from that, everything remains the same.

Of course, if you lose recruits, you won't have extra content with them, in this case, no interactions on the café (as of now). But nothing else is affected.

Why is Ch. 5 the exception as of now?
