Why do woman hesitate to date a military guy?

Whenever I approach a woman respectfully and, during the conversation, mention that I’m in the military, her reaction sometimes changes completely,she becomes awkward, distant, or suddenly loses interest. I’m not saying this happens with everyone, but it has happened enough times for me to notice a pattern.

So, women of India, what goes through your mind when a guy tells you he’s in the military? Does it make you feel intimidated, uncomfortable, assume certain things about his personality/lifestyle, or is it simply not a big deal?

I’m genuinely asking to understand the perspective, not to complain or generalize about women. Would appreciate honest answers.
