I am about to give up...

Well, not entirely. Last week I got home from work, and realized I left my garage door open. I work 2nd shift, but I live in a nice quiet condo neighborhood, down at the end of a cul-de-sac. I've never had any problems in the two years I've lived here. Apparently I found out today, someone thought it might be fun to go in and unplug my garage freezer. I just threw away probably five $600 worth of food, meats that I had bought on clearance to freeze so that I could make chili and stews to get me through the winter. It's all in the trash. Everything was room temp.

Earlier this year I was diagnosed with breast cancer, I went through with all of that, got her done, back at work. During the week that it was well over 100 here in minnesota, both of my in-wall air conditioning units decided to go out. Okay, I have a credit card just for s*** like this. Took care of that.

While I was off dealing with radiation treatment and etc, I had to get a crown that I put off for a few years. No big deal.

Two weeks later I'm flossing and a filling falls out. Another crown, but this time I have maxed out my dental so rip my credit card. Well, that filling was so close to the pulp that this crown is not going to work, so it's either root canal or pull it and get an implant. Thanks to menopause, and no HRT because of breast cancer, I have developed a severe dental anxiety. The thought of getting a root canal, and hearing all the horror stories about them has me crying every time I accidentally bite on something with that tooth. I really don't want to have to keep dealing with this so I'm trying to figure out how to finance an implant.

I'm so tired. I was having suicidal thoughts last week, I am NOT suicidal. I'm just tired. My heart goes out to the people who don't have a job that pays decent, who don't have insurance, and who are struggling right now to just put food on the table. I have a decent job, I have okay insurance, I did just lose most of my food but I'll be working overtime and I'll be able to replace it. But I'm tired.

I don't know what the hell the future of this country looks like, but it ain't very bright.
