Is it true about sharks?

You hear it time and time again.

Sharks are right-wing. For the most part, they’re even far-right. Far-far-right, so to speak.

Great white sharks, for example, mercilessly attack intruders in their territory. I think it’s safe to say that they’re openly far-right. The same goes for tiger sharks, I think. With bull sharks, it goes without saying that the vast majority are at least openly right-wing. It’s just part-and-parcel of the job.

But what about species like whale sharks or giant sharks? Nobody can tell me that they’re really on the right. Maybe there are some experts among you. I’m wondering:

Are sharks really exclusively on the political right?

Are there only right-wing sharks, or are there left-wing ones too?

Which sharks are the farthest to the right?

Thanks for your answers.
