Funny life: 14 years apart, rejected again.

My first crush, summer of 2012, 9th std, joined a coaching centre where Ma'am used to teach, girls & boys used to sit separately.

I was sitting at my assigned place, solving math. He entered, we met eyes, i fell in love. 😂 (Mind you, I was in all girls).

So he was my first crush. First time I ever even allowed a thought of a guy in my head apart from toys & cartoon.

Well, yes months went by & yes he got to know I have a crush on him. The whole coaching got to knoww.

It was a big thing!! I broadcasted him everywhere, school friends, coaching, in my head, my every conversation was about him for 2 years.

I don't remember when but I sent him friend request. We chatted, of course he was "Least Interested" in me.😂 That's what he said when I asked my friend to tell him that I like him.

At one instance, in coaching before farewell of 10th std, as we all got slam book, so had to get it filled by him!

One of the senior took my slam book went up to him & said fill it. I was ALL REDDD.

But haan, aise hin 2 saal chale gaye. :')

Just me in my Lala land thinking of him.

After 10th we met "as friends". I had my first bike ride with him! 😄 Of course, I came back home with migraine. (It was spring wind maybe).

We stayed connected on socials. College happened. I met different people.

We connected in Lockdown, we met as friends, couple of times we did meet. That time I was in a different headspace. And we never had any romantic talks ever.

Then again Life happened after Lockdown, we were dating different people. He was connected on my Ig. And yeah, I remember him sending flirtatious replies to my story here & there in a year.

Fast forward, couple of days back we connected again. We met. Life really happened. He was serious, nothing but just course of life.

Now we are 28- 29.

We chatted, we reminisced.

I came back home & texted him😂 "Will it be funny if we date" & it was not a shared thought, My friends.

Days have past since this has happened. No, I don't feel embarrass asking him, why not? At least better than being in a limerence.

But funny relationship we share. :')
