How to settle a two week old to sleep in her Moses basket... Help!
I have a beautiful 2 week old baby who is my life but I am finding it HARD.
She doesn't want to get off my boob and it's the only way to settle her. At night, once she's fed and in a deep sleep, I slowly put her in her Moses basket and then, 5 minutes later, she cries and wants my boob again. I can't sleep a wink as I am on constant high alert and it's starting to affect my wellbeing and my relationship with my husband.
I tried co-sleeping with her, which worked for a couple of nights. However, my husband isn't happy with it as he's concerned that he'll end up rolling onto her or hurting her in any way (which I understand).
What have you people done? Any tricks or tips to get her to settling in her Moses for at least an hour so I can get some sleep? I am exclusively breastfeeding and starting to express milk. However, I have thought of introducing formula to help her feel fuller for longer? Does that work?
Any advice is more than welcome, I feel like I'm losing the battle and I don't want it to affect my mental health.
