Why does my breast not react to hormones anymore after trauma? F30

8-9 months ago I was sexually assaulted and my one breast was groped/crushed and ripped so abruptly and violently a few times that I now have a clear volume asymmetry that can be felt in bras and also in be seen noticeably by eye. The injired breast feels much spongier and less full and firm.

I assume glanular and fat tissue was crushed so hard that it atrophied and the breast shrunk (or maybe it happened by ishemia but it started being noticeable already by week 2). I still have high sensitivity to very light touch so nerve damage is very probable too.

Every month during my cycle my healthy breast reacts nromally and swells, becomes bigger, feels much fuller and slightly sore....the injured side feels just..."dead" or not reactive at all. The breast doesnt seem to engorge anymore or react to hormonal changes from my cycle. During these days of high estrogen i can feel the asymmetry even more drastically. Braless the healthy breast just feels heavier and more alive and as a full pressure. In a sports bra the healthy side squeezds against the material in an almost slightly painful way whilr the injured breast barley touches the fabric.

Will this stay like this forever? Why is it like that and how will it affect a future pregnancy and nursing abilities?
