Help toddler hates slumberpod

I posted last week about traveling with my 2 year old, FTM. How he hates sleeping anywhere but his room, his bed.

Everyone recommended the slumberpod, I got thag with the toddler mattress cause he hates his pack and play.

we built it together so he was involved, let him check it out kept telling him it’s a new bed, it’s his room, that day nap time going on like usual he kept saying sleep tent bed sleep tent bed, so I was like why not he seems interested.

Okay so we try it he screams bloody murder, wouldn’t lay down, was jumping, got the entire tent turned over… we nap in crib like usual

I’m asking how do I get him to sleep in there, we go on vacation in 10 days.

Past family gathering when we’re at in laws having pool day my son would never sleep there I would have to go home with him while everyone stayed together. I just want to able to travel more with him…. I know he doenst remember this time but I want to look back on memories on taking him places but it’s hard when he won’t nap anywhere … leaves us 5-6 hours before we gotta be back… even traveling and staying air bnb pack and play in past when he was a baby was horrible no one got sleep
