In the aftermath of the Draugr Thryn Crisis, the Land of Jottariese was left occupied primarily by the Azral Empire, a small occupational army existing there to this day. While not technically part of the Azral Empire, many from the occupied parts of Jottariese were granted various forms of refuge in the Empire. Seeing an opportunity, Ellæ the Jötun emigrated across the border into the neighbouring Imperial province of Ostwald and set up a dairy farm. Jotturiese had always been known for its dairy products, such as a variety of cheeses, and a dense nutritious yogurt, but even after the Azralian occupation, high import tariffs existed on such goods coming into the Azral Empire. Ellæ reasoned that setting up production within the Empire itself would bypass said tariffs, while also save on the logistical costs of moving the cheese and yoghurt through the treacherous mountain passes of Jottariese. Once she was set up, and local merchants got over the surprise of buying from a giant, Ellæ soon found herself sending cheese all over the Azral Empire and turning over a tidy profit to boot. She lives comfortably, donating excess profits to other refugee communities within the Empire and to local infrastructure projects within Ostwald.

Made while fleshing out the lore of the various Giants of my world, this time as an example of one of the Jötnar, a distinct group of Giants who diverged from Mountain Giants centuries ago. Naturally, being Jötnar, there is the element of Norse mythos and culture about them. Ellæ is made as a much more sedate NPC example of, then say Skaldr/Draugr Thryn, a wicked necromancer whom I have shared before. Playing with scale here has of course been required to show of the fact she is a giant (big cheese indeed), but also took it as an opportunity to reflect some of the elements that distinguish the Jönar from other Giants, such as their greater material culture, clothing themselves much more than others for example, due to having access to fabric production on much greater scale for example. Pose is derived from an AAT75R pose, as they so often are.
