My X3 came with a broken SD card

I was very excited about this tiny e-reader. After hours of trying to get it to work I realized the SD card came bad.

Is it worth it for me to buy another SD card? I am low key sad and disappointed but also trying to break out of mainstream companies is bound to come with some hiccups.
