50-55” - Bright Room - Help

I'm looking for a TV in the 50-55" class (50" would be slightly better due to space constraint) for a room with windows on three sides plus two skylights. It’s always bright, and of course glare on the screen from sun plus reflections.

Hisense U6

Would like to be under $500 since its just used for casual TV watching, some sports, occasional streaming of a movie.

I hear lots of negative things about the software on both of these models, and of course concerns related to country of origin.

All of our other TVs either use Roku natively, or via Roku stick which I'd consider adding to anything we purchase.
